What Can We Expect From Toyota In 2019?

Following on from a successful 2017, Toyota looks set to reveal a strong set of new vehicles in 2018, including a new hybrid line for green-conscious drivers that will help the environment & save drivers money on rising fuel prices.

Camry Hybrid

The Camry Hybrid is sure to do the Toyota family proud in 2017 too, offering a fuel efficient, Australian built, family car.

Hino radios

Toyota has revealed that a new popular line of its trucks will be the first Australian vehicles of their kind to contain digital radios as standard. All new Hino 300, 500, and 700 Series vehicles will sport a multimedia unit, which includes a DAB+ radio, meaning so 2012 is sure to be sounding sweet for the firm.

Prius Plug-In

A new version of the popular Prius model will hit the roads in 2018, when the Prius Plug-In will become available. For the first 13 miles of any journey, the Plug-In will run on an electric battery alone, before switching to the normal Prius function for the remaining duration.

2018 FIA World Endurance Championship

2018 will also see Toyota Motorsport GmbH taking part in several 2018 FIA World Endurance Championship races, including the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Finances

The Toyota Camry is also expected to continue to generate substantial profit for Australia in the coming years. Almost 96,000 Camry sedans were produced in Australia with more than 70,000 exported and a further 25,000 sold in Australia last year.

Having recently made a hundred million dollar investment in a new car factory in the UK, creating a new European centre for building a new family hatchback, the Japanese firm is performing well globally too.
